I've now tried different ROMs, different versions of EZInput keyboards, using SIPChange, and disabling autopopup of the SIP all to no avail. I'd rather not go back to the stock Sprint ROM, but this little bug is really annoying me. Does anybody have any other ideas?

Try a hard reset, and see it it solves your issue, then you'll know forsure whether it's one og your cabs or not (rename your SDconfg first if you use UC). It you still have the issue, try grooveROM -- I never have that problem on my rom.

If you soft reset or manually terminate the music player after it's been started youtube works fine.

That's probably why, that version of manila is very picky about being modulated, so for the final, I had to leave it default, so youtube plays for me everytime
