Calcu, any guesses on the file I need to delete to get rid of the alltel logo installed by your "alltel_blue_manila" cab? I tried extracting the cab and viewing it in manila editor, but to no avail (couldnt find the logo file). Could you chime in please?

Try reading the thread. He answered this twice already.

"I plan to fix that probably in the next release, something was changed for some reason in the v5 kitchen from GF\TC, so the current pp changer is not working. I haven't noticed a difference from not being able to change it tho, so I haven't really bothered with it"

the alltel logo is file name 29ed4fb5_manila. You can try and delete that, but i dont think it will work.

The file is in the rom, and when the phone realzie that file is missing, it will call on that file out of the rom. So unless you make a rom, without that file in there you will have the alltel logo.

Additionally, I picked carrier config operator for Sprint. I see in the folders for that one, it includes the Sprint TV stuff. That stuff is also in the carrier config extras for sprint folder. So, I'm now trying the config operator for no extras to see how that works.

Sprint TV is in both sprint carrier options, you can just uninstall it or remove it from the oem folders & config_operator files

Probably something is still running in the background that it needs to overwrite, so the only option is to kill it with a task manager but I don't know what file that would be

1.) What is the battery meter application that the kitchen builds with called? Link?
2.) Does QuickMenu display enlarged like the HTC Large Start or is it more stylus friendly than finger?

it's a CDMA kitchen, don't think using on your phone would be a good idea unless you ported it over correctly

Thanks for your reply is there any tutorials on this type of porting? I was thinking most of the changes would be in the OEM_Drivers and hardware drivers etc? if you or somebody reading this knows of a tutorial please post a link,
