You can leave it as a .tsk, no need to change it to .cab. I use Wince Cab Manager as well, if you want I can do it for you, just give me the tsk and the two images you want to use.

after using this rom for about 10 minutes the phone frose, had to do a soft reset and now it wont boot past the black touch diamond screen with the red letters and number at the bottom, helpp!!!

You need to flash back to shipped rom then to back to this ROM. This thread might help you if you still having problems.

so far i like the rom. there are a few issues that i was looking for in previous posts but i got tired after going back 20 pages.

when i get a call i think it is the original incoming call popup comes up then the tachi answer slider pops up. is there a fix for this?
ok i finally found one fix for this and it said to use the enable htc dialer. will tachi dialer still work then?


how to is close Opera or IE since there is no X at the top? is it there somehwere and I just dont know it?

Try going into the menu for the program and select Exit from there.

Okay, trying to make my own ROM here. I'm getting a ton of "WARNING!!! Found module duplicate on module... " error messages. They start appearing when it gets to packaging the SIP's. Here's what it looks like:

Also, once the ROM is flashed, I can't switch keyboards. The only one I can use is the full QWERTY. When I go to switch, all of the other keyboards appear in the list, but if I select, say, the Compact QWERTY, it just pops the full QWERTY back up.

I'm using:

I have the same issue. I also had a random reset. I have flashed the shipped rom, then this and then clear storage. The ROM seems to work good for a day or so, but after that I get weird things happening, like the reset issue and some other quirky stuff I have nothing xtra installed, so no incompatibility issues.

Also, is there a way to disable the slide to answer and have just the buttons to answer and ignore/
