I'm happy with 21857 myself too. The COM4 builds are sweet no doubt, but needs some more work to the softkeys. Last build I used (23049) the softkeys was missing from some of my important programs (Total Commander, Pocket RAR, etc.)

I've had the same issue with Calk's ROMs and the ones I've cooked in the VK. I would say it's either a corrupted EXT for the finger keyboard or it's a conflict with the newer system builds.

EDIT: If you're cooking your own ROM then you can edit the finger keyboard settings in the EXT files. You can set all the shortcut keys and smiley's and stuff from there before you build. All those options are in the Skin files and you can edit them using Notebook. I'm still trying to figure out how to set the default color skin in the EXT so that it's not the gray and blue one when I flash. I want the black one. I'll let you know if I figure it out.

You're comparing Juicy ROMs and Calk Kitchens - that's comparing apples and oranges. Juicy hasn't released a kitchen in almost 4 months. And, you should see below for Juicy's thoughts on his last ROM:

Can someone help me change the ROM Version ID when building a ROM in the new VK? I cant find the old Diamond.htcrtproj file that you use to be able to edit.

BTW, 23049 is COM3.

Thanks for the info, willysp! I got interested when I saw your response and searched. I found this table over at xda-developers. Maybe it'll help someone else like it just helped me:

You the biotouch.dll from TouchFlo in your Windows directory for all the options to show up but the reason I don't include it is because it can cause weird isses on 6.5/6.5.1. As for Fingerkeyboard, the configurator doesn't work on 23028+, so it much be that MS changed something or it doesn't like the big softbar in the bottom

With Showcase Suite on 6.5.1, clicking X now closes apps and tap & hold will minimize
Tap & hold on start button will open Showcase task manager

Is there a way to reverse tap = close, hold = minimize?
