Re: [ 9-12 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

Well, I tried dropping in the 2.0 fix and it broke texting. LOL. I'm just gonna flash without it, as I probably should have first.

Edit: apparently that doesn't work either, I can't create a new text. I can reply though. (23409)

Re: [ 9-12 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

I just flashed the new manila 2.1, and it seems to be working well for the most part.

One weird thing I've noticed is the Calendar tab doesn't seem to be working properly for me. When I go the Calendar tab, I'll see the corner arrows for days that have appointments, but then they disappear. When I go to a day that has an appointment, it shows up initially, but then disappears.

Does this happen for anyone else?

Edit:

I don't think the main page is showing appointments for me either.

Re: [ 9-12 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

Trying to build a rom with the visual kitchena and when I hit the build button, the program asks me for a device ID. Am I doing something wrong? I cannot type in the device ID space. Thanks!!

Select DIAM*** from the drop down list under device ID before you build.

There is no drop down list under device ID. I'm using Vista...maybe that's the problem?

I think he meant under DEVICE. Select DIAMOND, and it will fill in the missing information.

Edit: Do this even though DIAMOND is already selected.

Re: [ 9-12 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

Everytime I build a rom it goes through the whole process then I get a Dr. Watson error from ImgfsFromDump.exe. The type of error in windows where it asks you if you want to send an error report to microsoft. I tried redownloading the kitchen and I still get the error. Wasnt getting the error with the beta version released a few days ago. Any thoughts?

Edit: Im getting this error in 23409 and 23047, havent tried 23017

Re: [ 9-12 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

I've spent most of the evening building various ROMs with tons of different settings, and I keep having the same problem... Everything will work fine for a while, then I'll have to soft reset for something and the OS will hang on bootup. Sometimes it even just hard resets instead of soft resetting.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? I've tried 6.1 and 6.5.1 to no avail, LZX compression on and off, Real 6.5 AKU checked and unchecked, and I'm at the end of my rope here.

I happened to check the phone's root directory just before a soft reset that failed, and it looks like it got corrupted somehow? I've attached a screenshot.

You need to flash to your carriers shipped rom. You can find them in the How To's: Unlocking, Relocking, Flashing, Dumping and Troubleshooting sticky. Itll fix all ur problems....
