Re: [ 10-3 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

Hey guys. For anyone running the 23060 ROM built by Calkulin from the first page. Does that have the new updated contacts manager?
Just finished installing and it's still the old one. Darn. But I guess it's the faster build so I will stick with it for now.

What have I done, and what can I do to use the kitchen?
fyi, i'm on windows 7, running the kitchen as administrator, and my phone successfully installs/boots pre-built roms, both from cooks or sprint; just nothing i build in the kitchen.
The "real wm 6.5 aku" toggled on was causing this for me.

In the kitchen I've been using the Glass Program Launcher and sometimes the Glass Slider and like the effects ... has anyone seen a cab or EXT for Glass Icons I could roll into the kitchen?

Try checking the "lzx compression" box in the kitchen to save room. It will save you a good amount of space.

The calendar function in the 23420 doesn't work from the manilla screen. I am sure it's the sys problem. Wonder if there is a fix though.
Also, seems to be power hungry. The battery goes down fast. Has anyone else noticed this.
I am running the ROMs which calkulin put together on the first page.
Thanks.

Hi mate,

This ROM is worst one ever. Read previous posts from my experience with this bad one. It is not Calk, but it is the system. Mr. Calk has done great job in other builds, like 21xxx.

My 23420 cooked ROM is fine. Try cooking yours.

6.5.1/23420/23420 has been fine for me. (already cooked or built from the VK). Have only run into a few bugs. Calendar works for me from any menu. For the features that I use on the ROM, I am pretty happy.
Will post separate threads on issues I see.

I've been running 23420 as well and all the features that I need work great in this ROM. I'm a happy camper for now. Thanks Calku.
