I think there is a general sensitivity issue with the new kitchen. I'm going to do some testing today and see if its any of the new OEM's or just a SYS issue. I'm going to throw the new SYS into the old 4.7 kitchen and see if it fixes anything. I went ahead and went back to 21232 4.7 because i had to press way to hard to select anything on 4.8 21728. As for the keyboard i posted and old version that works a lot better, a couple of posts back #6931 . I think the 4.5 has a lag issue.

Have you come to any conclusions with your efforts today. I tried using the earlier version you posted, and it was a little better, but not significantly. The keyboard is really the only problem i have with screen sensitivity. Everything else seems to respond just fine - and the SYS in general is faster. One big issue on the previous one was the attachments in Outlook that wouldn't open.

Anyway - just trying to find the best options here.

well, you led me in the right direction, so thanks. i ended up using groove's suggestion of writing it in the config_operator.txt (thanked you for that too, groove)

Anyone - especially Calk - what was the fix for poutlook and the attachments issue? I'd like to go back to using 4.7 (much smoother with typing) but need to be able to open attachments. Can i just paste the files from 4.8, and if so, which files do i need?

hey guys, does anyone know where the highlighted icons are located for the call log? i'm guessing they're in a dll file, but the dll files i want to look at are folders, not actual dll files.

I think that those are in SYS\Phone_DPI_192 and they are gif files.
