That fixed mine.

On a side not, I did lose all notification sounds today until I soft reset. Also, the changes I make in HKCU>Control Panel>Sounds>RingTone0 don't stick. Had this way back. I love the kitchen, so I'm just going to live with it until the next build. Thanks calc!

Bah. Wonder why it didn't work with me. To be clear I did the right thing, its in system tools and in the phone folder, and click on enable phone skin... right?

I have been having luck with the black stone volume control, here is the oem for it.
When cooking your rom use the dialer with slide to answer and no EDIT Curtain, then disable the volume control in the kitchen and use this oem.

I just Finished cooking and flashing a ROM and my ringers work with full htc volume control.

Thanks man! That worked for me, and so far that I can tell it hasn't broke anything else!

by "no canvas" do you mean don't select "phone canvas" ? I am borderline stupid and sometimes need extra help.

Unfortunately, I still cannot get rid of the ringtone issue. I've tried every format and every possible fix. The ringtone usually stops working after about a day and when the phone wakes up from a call. Imma try a theory of mine and put my ringtones in the My Documents folder of my device under My Ringtone instead of the windows folder and see if this helps...I will be getting back to the thread after further testing.

For those that have the ringtone issue still, try flashing a ROM without the OEM system - ringtone plugin
