From my experience, 23071/75 builds have terrible battery life.
My phone would die from a full charge over night.

I got a hold of SYS 23081 and battery life seems to be very good.

Using nuePowerCPL after a fresh restart.
23081 had the following discharge rates:
125 mA on wake
75 mA on idle
57 mA on dim
13 mA during sleep*

*When my phone woke up, it showed 13 before jumping to 125.

I tested with titanium only and then with SPBMS3.5.
Both tests had the same numbers.

Feel free to compare with what you have.

Unfortunately no. I mean with some lengthy developement im sure so one could but with 2.5 being ported, it would be kinda a waste of time. Not to mention that there is still some functionality under the clock, ie voicemail.

thats kind of what i thought. do we have any kind of timeline on tf3d 2.5/sense.

You are indeed correct. Showcase causes some pretty serious issues with messaging (both email and text). Freezes, lockups, random exits from the mail program.

I am ever hopeful that a new version of Showcase will solve some of that, but my understanding is that the development of Showcase has slowed to a crawl.

Yeah, crummy. Oh well. Im sure something will come out soon. I just cant believe WM would create something better to control tasks.

Its been my biggest frustration with 6.5.1 for over a month now.

I have a problem I can't seem to correct guys. I have cooked WM 6.5 and 6.5.1 ROMs with Calkulin's kitchen using the 21055 XIP & SYS. For clarification, the taskbar icons for both builds are located in the upper right corner of the screen.

Everything functions correctly except for the following issue. When I don't cook a custom taskbar, all icons show in the upper right on both versions of Windows Mobile. However, as soon as I apply a custom taskbar, like one of the following:

GF Bear-Bonz Taskbar - WM 6.5.cab, GF Round Taskbar - WM 6.5.cab, m6 Taskbar WM6.5.1 Black Metal V6 HTC.cab, Brians Taskbar_6.5.cab

I lose the X (close) and OK icons. They are replaced with a white circle in the upper right corner. I have a black taskbar, so I believe this signifies the absence of these icons.

I am at my wits end about what could be causing this problem. If anyone could help I would very much appreciate it. If you require more information, please ask. Thanks!!
