Re: *UPDATED* [11-10-08] Juicy ROM 3.2 [SYS OS 5.2.19972 Build 19972.3.2] [UC]

So I've been on 3.2 for about 12 hours now, and so far it's great.

Only bug I've encountered so far is every once in a while I go to the settings tab, touchflo will "crash" to the point it says Tap here to start touch flow agian. I am using MightyMike's NEON Manilla theme, and have been on all the previous releases, and this is the first rom it happens on. It doesn't happen 100% of the time, but maybe 10-20%.

I'm using that theme as well. I haven't had any issues thus far, but I'll let you know if I do. I flashed this morning.

whats the battery life like after 12 hours? did you use 2.5? I'm trying to figure out if this has the same life as 2.5, if anyone can answer.

The procedure I use for PicMail is after you've done all your config stuff. Install Pic Mail. Reset phone. After reset, go to Pic Mail from TF3D, choose Menu, NEW MAIL.

It'll go through the config process. When you see the screen that has a list of your email accounts, just wait. it's still configuring. You should eventually get the familiar TO box Add Media screen.

If it errors. Just retry a few times. It happened to me once after a FLASH and just had to try a couple times, eventually got it.

The ROM otherwise is great, I just don't understand the manual startup of your phone.

To remove this "feature" (and have TF3D start automatically) change registry setting:
HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\AutoLaunchToday from 0 to 1

I have just flashed my phone with 3.2. So far it seems to be working really well. However, for some reason, I can no longer do a hard reset, it either goes to the tri-colour screen or does a soft reset. Is the hard reset essential after flashing with 3.2?

Try Start -> Settings -> System -> Clear Storage (clear storage only).

I think it's good practice to hard reset after flashing - I've had internet connection issues when I haven't...
