Not sure if you realize it, Biggaboo, but Sprint users on this forum have gained a bad reputation for being impatient jerks because of comments like this one. Thanks for helping to further that cause.

Re: [In Development] Juicy ROM 3.0 [SYS OS 5.2.19965 Build 19974]

That's us Sprint users (:
I'm on 2.5 now and am happy it's better than the Sprint delivered ROM.

I'm getting lost though with all the revisions numbers changing this week x:

Chill out a bit. Go to the 20924 Kitchen thread... download the Kitchen, unRar it, run Build_My_Rom.exe, pick your choices to install and it goes. Once you do, you'll be addicted to using Kitchens. Calcu, tobeychris, ghettofreerider, and others are doing a really great job producing a very easy Kitchen to use along with cutting edge Sys/Xip/OEM and drivers all neatly packaged. I enjoy the pre-packaged ROMs too (used no2Chem's and DCD's on my Mogul for ages and have used Juicy's 2.5 and 2.6).

I'm just saying, if you're that anxious for something new... go and get it and put it all together.... I'm not trying to thread-jack...

Back to on-topic... Juicy, noticed you aren't going with 22222, is that because it's reported to be a repackaged 19965? I havn't played with 19974 yet... any hints of how it performs compared to 19965? 20924?

You're 13 and you're flashing ROMS? shouldn't you be studying?? but then again, I should be working at work... so eh....

But it does seem like telus guys have a pride thing going... i'm pretty new to ppcgeeks, but i just get that sense..

I'm just glad juicy is nice enough to include us sprint guys in his rom. Thanks!

TORCHED!!!

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem but every time a reminder pops up on the bottom of the screen I can't click dismiss. It totally ignores my input. I have to press the home botton and wait for it to come up the second time to dismiss it... Anyone else?

In order to not threadjack Juicy's... let's take this to another thread about using Kitchens. Check out the Sticky threads in this forum about Kitchens for more detailed answers... for the quick answer... there are OEM packages that you can copy into the "OEM" folder that is in the kitchens. These allow you to insert programs into your own custom ROM. For example... if you love 1-Calc instead of the regular calculator and don't want to install the 1-Calc cab file after flashing your rom, you can put the 1-Calc OEM package in your own ROM and it gets installed automatically.

Anyways, check out the stickies, there's TONS of much much more detailed info there... cooking a ROM isn't that bad... it takes a little practice, a few trial and errors, and if you're like me... you're always finding new things to change in your ROM (Registry edits, programs, tweaks, etc.)
