Went into bootloader, flashed previous version of Juicy Rom. I am happy again...

... and almost bought a TP2. Maybe in July when my contract expires.

So I have a problem hopefuly you can help me with. I downloaded Juicy 8 about two months ago, the beta just ran out and I cannot connect my phone via active sync to put a new rom on there. Any ideas?

Enter bootloader mode (Hold -Vol and Power button down until the tri-color screen appears), connect to computer (no Activesynch required), flash to a different ROM and you will be all set.

I have tried Juicy 8 3 times now. The last time, I flashed back to stock, and then I tried it again. It does not work.... It goes to the red screen that says "preparing" then a white screen comes up saying; "This concludes the beta test of this software release. Thank you very much... Blah. blah etc..

Oh well, thanks anyways, i will try again if a newer version comes out. For now I will have to stick with energy rom or something...

Juicy did not patch his rom when he built it (who knows why). It won't work now unless you use htc rom editor and replace shell32.exe with a patched version from the same sys. You're better off using a rom that is being updated. Juicy is in all likelihood not going to come back and build roms for a device he does not use / have? anymore.

Whats wrong? I cannot connect it to any sync software. Yes I am in bootloader mode, serial has switched to USB confirming it is connected to my machine and drivers installed when I did so.

Any suggestions?

Update: I got OMJ Rom on the phone now so its working (very very nice looking made me smile).

I'm going to try and get over to the old Juicy, or did Juicy update the ROM and take out the timeout?

Update2: I still timed out as beta after another attempt, may want to try another ROM besides 8.

I have the same problem except now I dont know how to flash back to the stock sprint rom because my computer isn't in sync with the phone since the damn phone just says "This concludes the beta test of this software release. Thank you very much... Blah. blah etc.."

nvm got it working... gotta use bootloader+power+low volume then restart rru

Same here. I tried loading this ROM and got an error message saying "the beta test of this software has expired..."

huh?
