Re: [Jan 15th New Sprint Radio V1.11.00F] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Thread

I'm at the v1.11.00F radio and I am seeing something weird. When the phone is just in standby, the signal is about 2 bars and down, but when using something like Sprint TV its stable at 4 bars. I have no EVDO in my city, so its using standard 1X rate. Are there two different signals being displayed here?

1.11.00f is a radio rom, 1.09.25.23 is not a radio rom, its a version number for a stock or custom rom. they are seperate. so after flashing this rom, you still retain the existing radio rom that you flashed previously unless is an oem shipped rom which has the radio rom and full rom flashed simultaneously. i would read up on the sticky thread a little bit to be more accustomed with flashing. I believe whats going on there is powersaving working correctly.
Why would it need maximum signal quality when all it's doing is waiting for a txt or incomming call, yaknow?

Makes perfect sense to me and mine does the same. The only time I care if my phone has a great or good signal is when I'm actually using it other than that as long as it gets the proper data and voice calls I'm happy with one bar or none if it still connects and works

11 seems to be working wonders for me here in Boston I've had it since the night it came out and my battery lasts for two days and not once has it gotten even warm off the charger

I like it. I think it depends on where you are in the country. Try it, if it's not working for you, you can pick another. I've used the stock, touchpro and telus.
