Re: Flashing a rom from the 4 gig storage

Hi all,

This is a great thread. Lots of great information here. I have a Sprint Touch Diamond and I very close to taking the plunge and, for the first time, reflash my phone with a custom ROM. My question is: After flashing a custom ROM are my phone settings deleted as well, such that my phone will need to be reset to make and receive calls?

Thanks a bunch!
tr1

Correct, that stuff used to happen to the mogul at times, but that was probably because the newer SPL added hardware tweaks and such making the epst think something was up. (best guess) I haven't seen or heard of anyone having that problem on the diamond/touchpro.

It was Radio upgrades to GPS that caused the loss of EPST data

Re: Flashing a rom from the 4 gig storage

hi i tried using the tobeychris guide to unlock my sprint touch pro and it kept giving me a connection error, even though i am connected perfectly with activesync and everything working fine it just keeps giving me a [202] connection error. I wrote this on the toberchris thread and they told me that their thread was for diamonds only, and not touch pros.

Plz, somebody help!

Re: Flashing a rom from the 4 gig storage

yea you need to go to the touch pro forum, and touch pro upgrades the SPL is different. there is an alternate method to unlock from the SD card i believe its mentioned there if you cant get it to work via your pc.

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42503 this is the touch pro unlocker thread. if you still have trouble pm me as touch pro stuff doesn't really have a spot in a diamond unlocker thread.
