Come on dude, try another rom until Mike's releases his rom which he did confirm will be coming. if you are unable to wait, then sure keep posting this stuff! why don't you call/email your carrier regarding whatever is wrong with the shipped rom that you choose not to use? Or you can do something constructive, try other roms, help chefs/users with valuable feedback, etc. just a thought.

Pull out your battery for 15 seconds without it attached to your computer/charger, put it back in, press and hold volume down and press and hold the power button (all at same time). Once you have the tri-color screen on your phone (ie bootloader), connect your phone to your usb port and flash a ROM from this forum (CDMA HTC Diamond Upgrade). You'll be fine after that.

You people really need to chill out.
Slamming people when they are down, being sarcastic during difficult times and overt negativity are really unlikely to get you what you want. Less so than constant whining about what you want.
Mike has made it clear that he knows that a lot of people want to use his ROM. He's also made it clear that he'll get to it when he can.
In the meanwhile, have some patience. Try another ROM. Make your own with a kitchen (that's what I'm doing for now).
But please, stop with all the nasty comments. Maybe try being a little supportive. You're much more likely to get what you want with some sugar than salt. And on the unlikely chance that we never get an update, you'll have engendered many more friends along the way. People tend to like positive people.
