Are you referring to S2U2 or S2A? Different animals.

Anyone have problem / solution for lockup/freeze diamond on 4.8? I charged my phone overnight and every single morning it is lockup, so I had to remove the battery then it reboot again.

TIA

Whats your page pool set at? did you flash to shipped before flashing to 4.8? did you hard reset after flashing? All these things make a big difference in stability in my opinion.

Sp~nt offered our company's HTC Diamond and Touch Pro users a free swap to the BB Curve 8330 because of all the problems that have been occuring with them.

I tried to take advantage of this opporunity to swap my Diamond out for a Touch Pro, but the IT director shot me down saying they are trying to get everyone away from HTC devices because of the support overhead that are causing.

Thankfully they are letting some of us rebels keep our Diamonds! The last thing I was is some locked-down no fun BB/RIM device. If it weren't for MightyROM I'd be making the switch though because the stock Sprint ROMs are j-u-n-k.

Score 10 points for WinMo, and 100 points for Mighty Mike!

Ringtone latest theory...

Any chance it is 15954 Opera build?? Opera was the cause of huge problems last summer when they released a beta, it caused all sound notifications to go silent. Just a thought.

Nothing in the registry is working for me. I keep losing the ringtone.

I asked this before, but no one seemed to know. Any takers this time around? I just want to make sure which one allows free tethering (via #777) and if there should be a difference in speed between the two... Thanks!

You want to use Phone As Modem, launch the app, click connect should be good. Or when you connect your phone select the third option, then connect.

It's not as though Sprint or anyone else for that matter can "see" that you are tethered, where they get a hunch something is going on is when you download rate skyrockets. Then they might threaten cancellation.

Are you sure about? Phone as Modem = Tethering... hence charges?
I've been using "DATA"....
