Re: [February 7th, 2009] M I G H T Y R O M 4.4.4 BLACKOUT EDITION [20764-UC]

So it's my understanding that there is a problem with the EZInput files and the black keyboard not working?

Does anybody have a flash problem like me? With 4.4.3 All the flash stuff worked okay, but with the new rom it goes beck to saying I don't have flash. I think it may have something to do with the opera version in 4.4.3 but I could be wrong. If anybody knows how to solve this, that would be fantastic

Re: [February 7th, 2009] M I G H T Y R O M 4.4.4 BLACKOUT EDITION [20764-UC]

Very weird....

Came back up after the restore and tf3d kept alternating from launching tf3d to "click here to launch tf3d". Never actually loaded.

Disabled it and re-enabled it same thing.

Soft reset, same thing.

Now doing a hard reset and trying to restore my sprite backup.

Cool thing I figured out though.....

I figured out a way to not need an extra arm do a hard reset.....

1. Power the phone off.
2. Pull the battery out and put it right back in.
3. Press the power+Volume Down+Dial Pad

Follow the prompt to do a hard reset and Voila, hard reset

No need to do the stylus reset thing.

LilRico said a few pages back: "Has to do with the files of EZ input. Mike and I will work this out and may even include a .cab fix if it is possible. I'm sure it is though.."

LilRico addressed this earlier today (at 3:46AM to be exact...LOL):

I just realized that my keyboard still goes invisible in landscape. Any ideas why only some of us are getting this?

Re: [February 7th, 2009] M I G H T Y R O M 4.4.4 BLACKOUT EDITION [20764-UC]

Ok, so i found out that the reason my phone was lagging so harshly after flashing was because PIM Backup was restoring some 500+ text messages (which have since been deleted) and it was taking it forever and bogging down the whole system.

The phone is now wicked fast and dead sexy :P

OK, here is a really st00pid question: why does my phone indicate and incoming call (screen switches to incoming call and nav button begins to flash) about 5 seconds before the phone actually begins to ring? Or stated another way, why is there a 5 second delay between the phone sensing the incoming call and the phone ringing?

Hey Pix,
This issue has been well discussed. Do a search and you will find there are some solutions but none that work to great effect. Sorry I'm about to flash 4.4.4 or I would have searched for you..
