How fast is "fast"? And what do you mean by freeze? Fully locked up or temporary? I've been trying to freeze my phone by texting as fast as I can (touchpal) and playing solitaire furiously but no problems so far.

Beautiful ROM, but like some, I think I have a small issue to report:

I cannot seem to set up the smtp side of my Internet email account. Receiving mail (pop3) works fine, but sending mail (smtp) fails. I have manually tried to configure the account and also used the auto-config (which interestingly just started working again after being broken since 4.1 or so). Anyone else have this problem?

Its a temp freeze for a couple seconds.. I'm not too sure what it could be.. I'm starting to really wonder if its an application, but I've only installed basic apps..

Like I'll be moving a card and itll lock up for a few secs where the whole screen doesn't work, same w/ texting.. I'm seriously lost b/c This never happened until 4.5 and I've reproduced this issue w/ another diamond also.. But, they both have the same software on them..

Yup you are right, I had a good stretch of about 10 mins without a freeze, but then I had a bunch within a shorter period of time.

Random freezing is still there, but its not as often as before.

and it progressively gets worse.. I'm a big texter, due to be being busy every day from 8am-9pm non stop mostly in environments that don't allow the use of talking on a phone.. So texting is essential to me and I do it from 8am-2-3am every day... So I noticed it right off the bat, I prob do about 1k of texts a day easily and thats not counting emails.

I just cleared storage and didn't restore my contacts/texts w/ bitpim.. I just synced w/ office and got my contacts and i'm starting fresh with no texts... I'm wondering if Bitpim corrupts something.
