Mighty Mike's Choice Of Browser
Hey guys, As you all know, there are a slew of browsers for our pocket pc's. Opera, Internet Explorer, Skyfire, Iris, Opera Mini, the newest BOLT Browser, Netfront. I have pretty much tested every browser out there to find the best one, and to be honest with you. They all suck! Opera Mobile is fantastic if you have all the patience in the world, locked in a room all by yourself for the entire day and you want to browse full websites. I just can't explain on how i cannot use this worthless browser for ANY browsing. As much as many people say it's great, etc. I think it just plain sucks. Wap browsing is BRUTAL. the constant zooming in/out just to view text is way beyond retarded imo. Internet Explorer is simply good for wap browsing... THATS IT. I will never even try to load a full webpage on it. It's just useless. THen you have the other browsers which are ok, but still lack. I've tried the newest Iris browser. Still not impressed. Anyways on with this story. I remember seeing a post way back about a browser called UCWEB. Awesome browser, great for wap browsing, etc. Although the current release had issues with 20764 sys which led me to throw it away. Well, while after browsing for alittle bit today, i've noticed they have released a newer version with an improved ui and more features and man I'm impressed. http://wap.ucweb.com/dl_platform/pub...1-09021910.cab There is the link to download. Keep in mind, i'm not saying this is the BEST browser of all time. For my usage (Quickly hopping on ppcgeeks, checking newest posts in my thread and blasting off some messages, etc) This is definitely my browser of choice. If you guys try it out, let me know what you think! |

There is no difference; pick one and if it starts downloading, you are good to go.

Mike - I noticed UCWeb is a Chinese company. Any reason to suspect its government funded and bad things will happen to my private data? I know thats very paranoid..but I just had to ask.
