Re: [February 7th, 2009] M I G H T Y R O M 4.4.4 BLACKOUT EDITION [20764-UC]

Hi guy's I think that something happened with the naming of the file for 4.4.4. I am getting the same issues reported for 4.4.3... i.e. no landscape keyboard, plus its white when in Portrait mode. White slide to answer ect ect. Is it possible you guys just renamed the wrong file or uploaded a previous version?

Thanks.

Sorry guys I wasn't right at all.. but there is still a problem with the keyboard. Its white and doesnt work in landscape. S2A looks awesome so does the dialer... is it transparent or is it carefully aligned with the background?

Not a complaint; just an observation. I really miss the smaller start menu with the previous programs listed. Is there a way to add that by .cab?

EDIT: OOOPS, never mind. I noticed that if I unchecked "enable large start menu" from the touchflo settings, I got it back!!!! EXCELLENT ROM! Speed for contacts is still there and i like the black dialer - (though I hardly ever dial)

hey I'm having trouble with mt internet with cricket on this rom. It tells me there is an error connecting to sprint pcs, is there something I have to do when installing this rom so it is generic and not sprint? I changed the nam name to cricket and manually updated msid min and loaded a cricket prl.

Just a note, thanks Mike for telling me about CfC, it seems to have made a slight speed increase, but the .nbh size did not change (though the OEM size decreased by about 70%).

Re: [February 7th, 2009] M I G H T Y R O M 4.4.4 BLACKOUT EDITION [20764-UC]

Personally, I like the whole "Blackout" theme, including the gray highlight.

But, for those of you who don't, the highlight color can be changed with cabs. Do a little searching and I'm sure you'll find one. Here are 2 threads dealing with CFC manila if anyone is interested.

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=56104

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=54935

They also link back further to XDA Developers and some interesting threads there. CFC has the potential to make a more efficient TF3D.

Mike or LilRico, are these manila files already compressed or are they compressed "on the fly" with the CFCPatch?

In other words, can we use uncompressed manilas for personalization on this ROM or do we need to compress them first with Chainfire's CFC GUI?

Keyboard/SIP update tonight maybe?

Re: [February 7th, 2009] M I G H T Y R O M 4.4.4 BLACKOUT EDITION [20764-UC]

Hey, so nobody here seems to be having problems with this rom, so this may be due to something going wrong during the flashing process, but everything on my phone is very very laggy. TF3D doesn't actually slide, flipping through text messages on TF3D takes about 5 seconds of the writing juttering across the screen etc.

Should this be fixed by a simple re-flash? (i flashed from internal storage)
