Hmm... if I uncheck the volume control in the rom builder I end up with the default Windows volume manager. How can I obtain the 1.2 HTC volume manager?

Redo your rom with 1.6 or replace it with the 1.2 in the OEM folder or wait until you finish these icon changes then copy 1.2 into your windows directory and it will overwrite the file.

OK, thanks... I want to do it without reflashing again so I take the whole "other - auto volume control 1.2" folder and copy it to the windows directory, or just one of the files inside that folder?

Thanks again.

Just copy the htcvolumecontrol.dll file and it will replace it.

Sorry if I am making this harder than it should be, but the only htcvolumecontrol.dll files that exist in my OEM folders are the 1.6. How do I get the 1.2?

Thanks again.

Re: How To: Kitchens

I got it from an older OEM and exchange it with 1.6xxx before building.

Re: How To: Kitchens

Well, I figured out how to add OEMs from other kitchens in to this one and finally got the ones that were screwing things up out.
Now I've gotten to the point where I can complete the flash of the ROM, but when it gets to the part where it is installing the Sprint customizations, it locks up when it throws an error:
The file :
\Windows\SprintTVChannels.xml
does not exist!
I then have to reset manually and the screen is all f'ed up. I'm sure it's because the customizations aren't completing.
In this last build, I didn't select SprintTV, but I did include all the other apps that indicated that they were needed for SprintTV. I figured I could just install SprintTV with one of the CABs I found.
I just need to know if there is something to select to make sure that file is there or something I can un-select or remove to not have it looked for so that the customization can complete.
Thanks.

In the rom building process where is the error being compiled at? If you look at your buildos afterwards it will tell you the last stage when the error occured, which was it and what other options were you including in your rom prior to the error?
