Re: How To: Kitchens

This is one bad-*** ROM kitchen. Amazingly fast.
My only issue right now is that I'm seeing the KB glitch that is being reported on Juicy's ROM where the last character pressed is being repeated when the KB is closed.
It also seems like the gsensor, or whatever is rotating the screen, is waaaay sensitive. [I seem to have fixed that by calibrating it.]
For some reason, the default setting had vibrate on any button push selected. I changed that.
I'll reflash in a second if this KB issue gets fixed.
GREAT JOB!

What exactly is the audio manager? If I uncheck it, will I have no audio manager at all? Will I be ok if I don't have an audio manager?

I am wondering if this component is related to the above issue and if it is safe to experiment with leaving it out.

Thanks.

Re: How To: Kitchens

Is it possible to change one option in a previously configured rom using the builder without re-doing all your options?

Downgrade the volume control to v1.2 and you won't have that problem. And the audio manager is for the manila audio, if you don't install it, you can still use WM to listen to music but you won't be able to use the audio tab

If your Diamond is not CDMA(Sprint, Telus, Bell, Alltel) it will not work without modifing the kitchen(xip, drivers, etc)

Re: How To: Kitchens

I took some OEMs from Calcu's kitchen and dropped them into this kitchen's OEM folder. Ran them through DSMbuilder and now when I click on build my ROM, I get an error that BuildOS has encountered an error and has to close.
I reinstalled the kitchen from a fresh download but still no joy.
Any help please?

Awesome. Thank you. Is there an advantage to using the 1.6 volume control? It seems to be fairly buggy... will I be losing anything if I roll back?

Thanks again.
