im reverting back to an older version instead of updating to 1921 cuz that the only one in which i could get xt9 mywords to save custom words. will update soon. i personally going to keep 1921 to myself cuz i dont care about editing mywords and i think it is much more responsive which means i can type a hell of a lot faster without it missing a char since i was going too fast... u might know what i mean.
to please everyone i need to let go of some of my own preferences and release something that works for everyone, or at least most people.

In my humble opinion, I'd say you should switch to 1921 since it's much faster and that's the one you want also.

It's easy to get around saving custom words in T9, you don't have to use xT9 mywords - in your message, just carefully type the word you want for the first time. Then before hitting space bar, click on the first "suggested" word, which is always what you type literally, even if it doesn't exist in the dictionary. From that point on, it stays saved!

Are you releasing a Sprint version of the new lite rom btw? I've only flashed the current lite version on my test phone so before I flash it on my everyday use phone I need to be sure all the Sprint related functions will work.

i completly forgot about a sprint version... thats the one i cook first and flash to my phone.
right now im testing out some of the new 2011 packages and gonna wait the 4 days that amarulz said it might take him to come up with the new manila 2.5 port.
sorry if u waiting for it... if u got a version on your phone that works good wait a little... ill update hopefully by the end of this weekend if everything goes good... and if it does, i promise that in the performance aspect it would be worth the wait.
so far i dont really see a reason to update... everything that works on the sprint version should work just as good on the generic version... just install the carrier cab... and if u must... the prl and profile update.

and for the good new... seems like almost all of the 2011 packages are working good... everything is much faster, i think ill skip the keyboard in the release since it come with the arrows and need to be ported to get landscape.

thats true... thats y i never saw it as an issue myself.
u can also edit "mytext" through hitting menu while being in a message screen and adding texts... this will probably only work for wm message screen.

No worries I can wait for the Sprint version. FOr now I have only flashed on my test phone like I mentioned so I'll wait for a Sprint version whenever you release it before I put it on my actual phone. Thanks again and keep up the good work!

ill post a link for 21890 generic test rom... still with manila 1921... but with almost everything else from 2011.
i didn't get a chance to skin everything and probably wont until 2.5.2011 comes out, but i would really like some help on catching some possible issues with the 2011 packages.

edit: actually... i guess i need some work on it, not all is good... i still need to tweak it a little... sorry, i thought i can just put it on and test... but not really the case.
everythings works... some resized xml's from previous versions even fix this version when it comes to position... but some still need work.
thanks for everyone who might have wanted to help... but i gotta figure more things out first.
i will say that compared to older packages... the many things on the phone are now insane fast compared to older builds.
i think when 2.5.2011 will be proted... we would have reached as close as we can to perfection on our "old" device.
