Re: Asurion raises deductible rates
I can understand if they charge the $100 for lost of stolen phones but how can they charge the customers for simple replacements of issues that are already known. How would you like to pay $100 every time the phone craps out because of HTC defects? I'm still trying to argue with Sprint and Asurion that my phone is under warranty after 2 1/2 months of service and that the MicropError is not of my doing but they insist that I pay $50.

They're trying to pass on the problem to Sprint and Sprint is telling me that I need to pay the deductible for them to fix it.

Re: Asurion raises deductible rates
In the pamphlet Asurion sent detailing the increase in deductible, they state "You may cancel your optional coverage at any time and recieve a pro-rated credit of your unused payments." What exactly does this mean? Can you get a partial refund of the fees, if you didn't actually use the service?

Re: Asurion raises deductible rates
That sucks...I have it on my 6800 myself, but, I have not seen a notice yet...Hmmmm
If your in a contract, you might be stuck, if your phone breaks, a newer WM phone, it could cost you $300-600 for a replacement. These type of things always happen at the worse time (as it has for me in the past). I'd rather pay $100 than $500 for another phone....but, I never even liked paying the $50 after giving them $7 a month (I've only used it once in the 4-5 years of having it) |
