well you guys got lucky, i just got off the phone with tech support again and they said "we have moguls on hand in the warehouse". So i wont be getting the tp after all but i did get 2 confirmation emails one states the mogul is on back order (from when i called tech support about the issues i was having) and the one i did from the self advance exchange which states the replacement model would be the tp. im confused now. will i be getting the tp or mogul? No one really knows i guess.

I ran into road blocks with every department at Sprint and originally with Asurion as well. I called Asurion again today and they're officially replacing Moguls with Touch Pros. No begging, negotiating, escalating, etc. The default replacement for the Mogul is now the Touch Pro as long as Moguls are out of stock. Get em while you can!

I don't know if Asurion has Touches or not. If so, you're probably stuck with it. If you have TEP you can go to www.phoneclaim.com and work your way through the online claim form until you see what the replacement will be. But I have a feeling that if the Touches are gone they'd give you a Touch Diamond. Afterall the Diamond is the new Touch and Pro is the new Mogul.

what number are you guys talking to reps on for asurion i call 800 584 3666 get automated thing and it says order confirmed but no tracking info available call back in 24 hrs!this has been since yesterday morning when i did claim online.

i tried it through the asurion people and it said it was going to send a mogul, so i did not accept it. then i went through sprint self service and it said its sending a tp. all of you that are tryin try using sprint self service before calling or going to the store. if they offer you what you dont want you done have to accept.

I got a replacement Touch Diamond, but I really don't prefer it over my Mogul. The backlight also likes to stay on, even if I force the screen off. I miss my keyboard.
What should I tell Asurion? I could complain about the backlight, and say I needed something that would take my memory card and have a physical keyboard, but I don't want no stupid Treo, lol. |

never mind fellas called sprint tech support told him my story he said let me call asurion then this lady came on and said the moguls are back ordered and can take 3-4weeks or i can get you a htc touch pro i said ya lets do the pro cause i cant wait 4 weeks
