Wow. That sucks. Good news is, you can see *exactly* what they are proposing to ship. Keep checking back, apparently (when I was skimming this topic yesterday) it happened before as well that they "offered" a mogul. Then, later, it was back to the TP. Just try again later, and when it does say

just made a call and they offered me a reconditioned mogul

if only i had seen this topic earlier yesterday, i could've been celebrating tomorrow. hopefully
there will be another boom of TP offers.

I took mine in to a sprint store today and showed them the issue with the USB port and after some wheeling and dealing I got them to upgrade me to a brand new Touch Pro (the retail box) for free I should have it Monday or Tuesday

Just tried the claim from the Nextel link and got offered another Mogul.

I guess I'll try again another time or try to find time and make it up to the store to see what they can offer me.

Used the sprint link tuesday night and was offered a touch pro. Checked the UPS tracking today and it says out for delivery, 3.4 lbs. Working is going to be tough this afternoon.

Touch Pro was waiting for me when I got home NIB with extra battery in the shipping box!

So after first recieving a refurb mogul from Asurion, I just recieved the TP they promised me. And sprint credited me the $50, but I don't think Asurion is even charging me because they sent me the wrong phone in the first place. So now I'm off to a store to see if I can get an extra battery and screen protectors.

Used this trick and now 3 people I know have swapped for the touch pro. Thank the lord for this easy replacement process.
