My guess is that your Mogul is outside the factory warranty period of 1 year. You sound like you must have had an Early Mogul to have gone through 5 of them. Even though they replace them, the original purchase date is still considered the start of your warranty period. So...with no factory warranty, the only direction you can be steered is through TEP insurance, which is run by Assurion.

First time I put in that my case was cracked and they wanted $120 for a TP.

The next time I put that it powered on and off and it was free.

Try it again and see if that works.

Ok, nevermind I guess. I logged back into Sprint's site from home and redid the same process. This time it told me I saved $55 by having the TEP plan, and my total amount to be billed is $0.00. They are sending me a Touch Pro kit as well.

Ok, so I just put through the request. I selected broken screen and put in the comments the white spot on the screen. It is going to charge me $55 since I didn't have the warranty. I am fine with that. Since I have a cooked rom on my mogul am I going to need to relock it and put a factory rom on it before sending it back?

Yea, I know I read somewhere in Sprint's fine print that "non-oem" roms void just about everything; warranty, service, contracts. Essentially Sprint is saying that cooked roms are responsible for the bad economy, world hunger and everything in between. So def relock and flash a factory rom.

YAY! The box came in today while I was out. I come home and my wife goes "You have a present on the table" I walked into the dining room and prolly sounded like a fruitbat as I dug into the box with a loud "WOOHOO". Box marked 3lbs contained a brand new in the box with all nice plastic stickies on it Touch Pro with Extra Battery. On top of that, it arrived 2 days sooner than I expected. So I guess this is my second to last post in the titan forums. My last one will be a good bye and who wants to buy my Mogul Car mount post. No, the Seidio carmount doesnt work with the TP because the port was moved to the center, and its slightly thinner front to back.

I got home and my TP with extra battery was waiting for me. Can't activate it because my account claims I'm past due. Another annoyance to deal with.

Definitely clear storage OR if you are running a custom ROM, flash back to stock and re-lock.

I went to through the self replacement website saying it turns off and on at times... and it said it was going to replace it with another 6800... any ideas?

my brand new touch is on the way....got them to do a warranty replacement from the touch to the touch pro for 30.00$...the charge is because the touch pro retail is more than the touch...being premier customer with 5 replacements on my touch this year paid off haha

call in and tell them you are having way too many problems with the software glitching and it being sluggish and you went to a tech center and they recommend you call customer care and have 6850 sent to you as a replacement

Well, I tried to upgrade my mogul today through the self solutions web page and I got this as the replacement:

I tried it twice and got the same thing. This sux because I was really looking forward to something other than my mogul. I've gone through 3 in the past 12 months (not from abuse either) and I'm not looking forward to another refurb piece of junk that I'm just going to have to replace again in a few months.

I have an htc touch and im jealous because i cant have the pro, but my phones beeen wicked ****ty lately just got it replaced a week ago. It was sending out old conversations over and over again, sluggish and freezing. So now I called back after being to the tech store twice in a week with the refurbished phone, now dealing with customer care. I told them i want an upgrade or different style phone. Hopefully they give me upgrade to the PRO! lol probabl not but worth a try....

I tried to file a claim with the nextel self service and i get the same phone as a replacement. and when i file with phone claim they always put the number to call. what should i do.

just customer support...*2....make sure you tell them that the store recommended a different model such as the diamond but tell them you are willing to pay the 30.00$ difference to get the pro

You will have better luck calling customer care and not dealing with the online bull***t... as long as your are decent to them they will most likely suggest the diamond for the touch and the pro for the mogul....if you dont mind paying the 30.00$ difference they will also give you a pro for the touch

tell them they MUST replace it with a phone of equal or lesser value...the worst you can get is a Diamond
