NONE of us are getting charged anything new....... not yet anyways... So you certainly couldve waited to cancel your service... If you were never gonna upgrade, then youd never pay a penny more than you already were.. I have 5 activated Smart Phones..... My bill isnt going up one penny either... Only 2 of my devices will ever be upgraded though... My 3 Tp1s are for Tether and ANdroid only, that wont change... I hate the charge, but if i wouldve bought 4G devices, Id be in the same boat anyways now wouldnt I... Theres also several ways to combat the new $10 increase, such as: $20/24, $10/12, corp discounts, retention credits, etc...... You only having had 1 device that was currently active on Sprint, then making such a "Drama Queen Fuss" out of this is really infantile... I agree with your motive: "not paying more for same thing", though anyone with a Epic or EVO in a NON 4G area already feels this woe.. As far as Data goes, how's Tmo handle "abusers" or "Internet Hogs" such as myself??? Does Tmo throttle speeds after 5GBs? Sprint Doesnt! Does Tmo charge overages? Sprint Doesnt! I used 130Gbs 2 months ago and 90 Last Month.. What would Tmo do? Sprint Raised Rates! (lol snuck one in there in Your Favor) ***Just saying, we're all going back and forth for nothing.... NONE of Us are going to change anyones minds... What works for that Individual user, works for that person.... If someone wants to cancel with their Carrier, have at it... If someone is happy with paying $10 a month more, for nothing, let em be...

Thanks. Your post was helpful and tells the facts. But I'd like to add that Sprint offers "TEP" (Total Equipment Protection) while T-Mobile only has regular insurance for the same monthly change as Sprint's TEP. Sprint has free in-store tech support and phone repairs. If you have TEP it's a free service. T-Mobile has no in-store technicians at any location. Also T-Mobile does throttle data after 5gb and T-Mobile's HSPA is average and HSPA+ is not even close to Sprint's WIMAX 4G. Things to concider. Personally the TEP is a very welcomed service for me as it gives you worry-free piece of mind. That's worth 10 bucks alone along with no data throttling after 5gb.

FWIW SERO-P also comes with things like GPS, AMAT, and more device options which is attracting a lot of SERO users as it is. So Sprint will still say that it's not a $10 "premium data fee" for SERO because it comes with all that crap above as well. |

Fact #1: Sprint also claims to throttle speed of abusers, just like T-Mobile. That is actually where T-Mobile got the idea. Fact #2: T-Mobile's HSPA+ is faster than Sprint's Wimax. Fact #3: T-Mobile's HSPA+ has a larger coverage area than Sprint's Wimax. Fact #4: While T-Mobile may not have any repair techs in stores, they will certainly swap your device for another one. We get it- you are a Sprint fanboy. But don't go spouting BS and claiming it's true just to make Sprint look better than they really are. Sprint may very well have better service than T-Mobile in your area. But your post doesn't say anything about your area, it's flat out saying Sprint is better than T-Mobile for everyone.
