We bought the Epic on one of my lines (SERO500) to be activated on a friend's account (EPRP IIRC). I couldn't activate it on my SERO line obviously so we had to call in order to "free up" the ESN for activation on his. In doing so, we are apparently not eligible for any of the things I listed. Frankly, my friend didn't care and I personally don't think manufacturer's warranty claims would he denied in the first yeat... heck, I wouldn't be surprised if the rebate came through as well heh

So basically you ordered your friend the Epic and tried to activate under his line but it wouldn't let you because it was attached to your line?

I figure if they give me any grief about the new plan I will simply send it back to them.

i ordered mine as well... only a few days till oct 1st. will activate it then.

i also was able to put it on my bill...

It is possible. No one can really tell you if you will get one since it depends on the rep.
