Re: SERO to allow other phones

Fact is, if a SERO customer moved to EPRP for the EVO, theyre still paying FAR less than a plan with an HD2 (an inferior phone IMHO), and a larger footprint of coverage. Even if no new phones are offered on SERO (which I have, and which I doubt they will do), Im not going anywhere. Ive had great service for years minus a couple customer service issues (which happens everywhere) and Sprint has the best pricing out there. |

Re: SERO to allow other phones
i dont know if any of yall browse on slickdeals.net but the threads they have on how to get SERO plans and what not, a lot of them are saying how they are able to score crazy deals when switching from sero to the EVO plans, and getting HEAVY discounts to make up for the price difference such as 24$ off every bill for 12mos, pick 3's, nite/weekends start at 5pm etc etc... ive thought about trying this with the csr's because in reality phone sales are like car sales, u CAN haggle stuff if your persistant.
if we dont get new phones tho i still dont think id swap out of my sero contract. paying under 30$/ month for 500m and unlmited everything else is nice. |

Re: SERO to allow other phones
see, most people got sero by scamming an employee email addy online anyway. alot of (NOT ALL) these sero holders that are complaining so hard, are trying to hold on to a deal that wasnt even meant for them. i m not hating on that. i get a big discount that is better than the corp. disc. im supposed to be getting. let the hustlers hustle. but know when its time to let it go.

The SERO customers will drop their SERO lines when they want or have to, whether that's next year or 2030. Many of them will be given incentive to do so in the form of newer phones or deep discounts. Even more will be thankful for having saved so much money. My suggestion to you is that you learn to deal with it since this has nothing to do with you... unless you own Sprint stock? |

Other than that... Sprints prices are pretty fair in comparison to the competition...especially with corp discounts. In my case, I'll hang onto my TP2 for a while. It's physical design is great and with a SPB Mobile shell and now the overclock...it flies. Once Froyo with flash, dual core processors, and 4g become standardplace (at least in my area) I will feel like I'm really getting an even better value for my dollar. To me that is when something like the EVO or better will truly become the "data rich experience" that is being promised. With all the current software that is still available, WM still easily holds it's own against Android and IOS. By the time all of it really starts to feel obsolete...it will then be time to upgrade. |

Re: SERO to allow other phones
All good things must come to an end.. thats how i see it.. sero was good while it lasted. I have been rocking it since the mogul days. but i have no problem paying more for a better phone.. I will NEVER go bak to tmobile.. EVER!.. the service just sucks plain and simple.. i got a few years out of sero and thats fine with me.. Epic here i come.. sero or not..
