Re: HTC PRO > EVO on SERO Plan
I do not think all sero plans have unlimited data on them.they may but i do not think they do either but i could be wrong. It would really open a can of worms if they did allow SWAC and Sero but not the FF plans that have unlimited data on them.

Re: SERO to allow other phones
If sprint doesn't let new (good) smart phones on Sero when I'm done with my TP2, I'm thinking of switching to T mobile.
I have a Sero 500 plan and rarely use more than 200 minutes. I use mostly data. I hardly send any texts, and don't care at all about Sprint TV or Navigation. For my usage it seems like: T Mobiles Even More PlusSM (No Annual Contract) 500 Minute plan might be a good option? You have to pay for the phone upfront, but long term it seems cheaper than the EVO scheme. I also like the idea of changing phones by swapping out a sim card. Sprint sometimes goes for long stretches between cool phones. I'm curious what other Sero options people are looking at? |

Re: HTC PRO > EVO on SERO Plan
After doing some quick calculations, it kind of evens out in the end whether I was still on SERO or the 69.99 plan. When I factor in my 27% corporate discount, and the Sprint Premier perk of being able to get full upgrade discount every year, it amounts to the same, give or take a few dollars. And yes, I'm phone junkie and love getting a well worthy upgrade of a phone. This is of course having an Android phone on either account.

Re: SERO to allow other phones
its funny to me that so many people have been leeching off of sprint with 20 and 30 dollar smartphone plans for so long, now they are so mad that sprint is slowly moving them in to other plans, that they are going to tmobile or whoever. the blame cant be placed solely on one thing, but these plans were helping to keep sprint upside down financially for years. now that they realize it, your just going to jump ship? well, lets see how good t-mo treats yall. gonna be funny when they merge and its still called sprint, and they lay new fat sprint rates on you. to any one considering t-mobile, i hope you live in the big city, because anywhere even close to outskirts, or in the boondocks has NO service and NO roaming agreements.

Re: SERO to allow other phones
Eventually Sprint is going to have to do something for Legacy Customers. Are they going to start replacing TP2's with Sanyo flip phones? Something has to give.
