Re: will sprint allow early upgrades?

this I can answer as I just called them a few days ago.....If you are a Sprint Premier customer and are getting your upgrade every 12 months instead of the typical 23 months then ABSOLUTELY NOT..this according to 3 separate retention reps. If you are eligible every 23 months then yes, they can move you up a few months if and only if you call the retentions dept. I myself am eligible for my upgrade on the 1st of October and they will not give the extra 31 days to be eligible on the 31st for the new Epic because I am a Premier customer.....I say Premier my azz, LMAO...hope this helps.

Re: will sprint allow early upgrades?

Actually, even a premier customer can get it pushed. I got mine mocpved from July 1 to May 16. I went through telesales supervisor, asked politely, yet insistently, for an exception. I had never had early upgrade, had account in good sat ding, 4 lines etc, kept mentioning this. Finally got my phone. So you'd have to wait till launch day and give it a try, but don't count them out.

Re: will sprint allow early upgrades?

I am not a premiere customer. I was able to get mine pushed from Oct 1 to Sept 1. I just called customer service and they said no problem at all. No retentions even.

Re: will sprint allow early upgrades?

I have two lines on my account and have an evo already. I think it was Friday, but Sprint called ME telling me that I was due for an upgrade ... ( like sep or oct ) and asked if I would like to get an early upgrade. I asked if the offer would be on the table later since I was happy with my tp2 and evo and he said sure. I want to wait to get the first release phones out of the way and let sprint iron out the kinks before I get mine this time. I had a few odds N ends bothering me with the first ota so Imma wait a bit on this one.

Re: will sprint allow early upgrades?

I got an email from Best Buy this morning saying, " we get early upgrades for most of our customers." Here is the link to see if they can help you: http://www.bestbuymobile.com/upgradechecker?h=504

Re: will sprint allow early upgrades?

Its not uncommon for a carrier to push push out early upgrades.

Re: will sprint allow early upgrades?

I spoke to someone in retentions and was told i could pay $100 to be eligible for a few of my lines but only $30 for my one like that is only 3 months or less out for renewal but you will have to go to retentions about this no one else knows about this.
