Re: Upgrading from $30 SERO to Evo 4g...Best Plan?

hmm i see, so i guess if i want to upgrade i should either stick with the Moment or the Hero then. Someone else on another post mentioned that his whole family returned their Hero and went for the TP2 because it keeps crashing on them and even with the replacement within the first 30 days of opening their account... Is the Hero that bad??

So will EPRP work with HTC Evo 4g? How can I convert from SERO to the EPRP?

I just did. Basically I just called...I was connected to the Employee account people. A few questions...switched. Bear in mind that the EPRP (so the rep told me) is not applicable to the Premier program.

Not the $59.99 plan, but the $79.99 plan and the primary line on the family plans certainly are eligible.

If your talking about EPRP plans the price stays the same..if you mean the 20/24 discount yes once 24 month pass you loose it even if you renew contract.

Re: Upgrading from $30 SERO to Evo 4g...Best Plan?

I'm going to have to bite the bullet and sign up for the 129.99 family plan. I don't need all those damn minutes but they don't have any plans with less minutes. I'm going to miss my fair and flex 800 plan but I have to upgrade sometime . It will over all cost with 20 bucks more a month with my 25% discount which isn't horrible. Plus the $10 dollar "4g" fee. So I'm looking at 30$ more for a badass phone.

I can't beat that deal, especially since I want the evo 4g. Also, I only have to pay $199 for the phone.

Btw, I had the $30 sero plan before.
A few questions..

1. Were you out of contract?
2. Did you threaten to leave Sprint?
3. What did you say specifically?

I'd love to get the same deal as well, and I am on the same legacy 30$ plan.

He totaled everything up and told me that my plan came out to $49.99 a month, and that it will start on the 4th when the Evo comes out.

I will post my plan directly from sprints website when they update it ( they are currently updating it now), so you can see the break down. All I heard was $49.99 for everything, and I ran with it. I even tripled check to see if there weren't going to be any surprises ( the $10 evo fee). He said everything was included, and we want to make our loyal customers happy.
I'm surprised he added the evo add-on charge when you don't even have the EVO yet. I hope he didn't screw you over somehow and lie, which as people have delt with sprint happens very frequently.

I just tried this today, I have $30 sero as well. No dice LOL. I hit the button to cancel service (to get to retentions) but I ended up with employee customer care. Which I don't think is the same as retentions. How did you get to retentions?
