So you just gonna change it to a regular plan and keep your discount or you gonna try and gamble and get the eprp and see if your discount sticks?

I have a question for you, are you getting any discount ontop of your new sero plan? I heard no discounts are allowed, so the 69.99 with a company discount may actually be cheaper, for my company it would because i get 22% off the bill. 69.99 - 22% = $54.60
I was planning on doing the EPRP family plan. So it is 109.99 + (14.99*4) = 154.96/5= 30.99 a line. I guess you still need to add the 10 bucks for evo. Is the company discount a better deal? I'm bring 3-4 other lines that way I can justify the evo. How do you qualify for the company discount?

$10 Mandatory

With the $10 mandatory for the Evo, it looks like it will be cheaper to get the 69.99 and just add a corp discount.

New Sero
Plan: $59.99
Evo Data: $10.00
Insurance: $7.00
-----------------------
76.99 plus tax

Regular Plan
Plan: $69.99
Evo Data: $10.00
Insurance: $7.00
-----------------------
86.99 – 22% Corp Disc = 67.86 plus tax

So you're pretty much saying that this is as cheap as its going to get? There's no other way? So we're going to have to go from paying around 30 to about 70? That's almost a double in the monthly rate. That's $480 more per year, more or less

True man. I did something with the BB data and now I pay about 43 with taxes, so it won't be TOO much more. I just don't want to lose my good plan its so much more a year! We'll see I guess as the release approaches.

Re: Upgrading from $30 SERO to Evo 4g...Best Plan?

I just got off the phone with retention, and they set up my new 2-year contract for 49.99 with the everything plus plan. The original price was 79.99 ( the extra $10 is for the Evo 4g premium data charge), but the guy gave me a %25 discount, and $10 off for 24 months. That brought it to $49.99 including my insurance. I can't beat that deal, especially since I want the evo 4g. Also, I only have to pay $199 for the phone.

Btw, I had the $30 sero plan before.

Re: Upgrading from $30 SERO to Evo 4g...Best Plan?

So I read on a few other sites that the $10 Evo tax (and the $30 hotspot fee) is not eligible for employer discounts. So you would pay the full $10, no matter what discount you get for your employer.

Probably no big deal, but it might change the math for some of you guys comparing EPRP plans against regular plans with a discount.

Now, we just need someone to confirm for us how much the Evo is on the EPRP family plans.

So they're giving you the insurance for free? I calculated your discount and the $10 off and it's coming out to roughly $55, depending on whether I remove the $10 from the 79.99 before or after the 25% off. And then there's the $7 for the insurance that's added to that.

I'm on the $30 SERO and I'd like to get your deal for 49.99, but the numbers don't seem to add up.

Yeh I was trying to figure out his numbers too b/c they dont add to me either.

New Sero has two plans
59.99 & 79.99. So with the EVO it's either 69.99 or 89.99 then you take the $10/24 off and then 25%. But even with that it doesnt add up. Can you break down your new plan for us?
