Hello,

I have a BB Curve 8530. BBSAK does not seem to be able to detect my phone. I tried the process that is described in the FAQ section of the site. The desktop manager connects to my phone but not BBSAK. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

For what it's worth, I solved the problem for my 9650.... I've been running DM 6.1. I left it installed, but reinstalled an older version of Desktop Manager (5.0.1.37, to be exact). After doing that BBSAK immediately connected without issue, and I was able to add, copy & delete files from my phone. DM 6.1 still connects fine too, and I still use that for backing up, etc.

So find an older version of DM and try reinstalling that - it worked for me.

I love this app! I use it all the time, but am having issues since installing the Blackberry Bridge app for my Playbook. Is there an update planned?? I sent a few email replies to the last nonag(yes i support u guys) version email i got and have yet to get a response. I have already been without the use of this app for too long, help plz!!!

I made a donation and got the program but I am not sure which program I can use on my macbook to install it. Can someone please advise? I have received error 606 on my torch and need the program to repair the problem.

its ironic that this happened to you when upgraded from DM 5 to 6.0.2.42.glad you were able to go back to DM 5 and now everything works.i had DM 5 and upgraded to DM 6.1 and BBSAK would not find my phone.but when i tried to go back to DM 5 it would not open or connect to my phone either .for me ultimately i upgraded DM 5 to DM 6.0.2.42.now everything works fine.

I need to switch from a Blackberry 8530 to another 8530 (which I purchased privately) because some of my keys are unresponsive and other keys do the wrong things (for example, by End key will type "m"s & "n"s). I'm told that the computer backup will only transfer some things and that I need Blackberry Swiss Army Knife (BBSAK) in order to back up 3rd party apps and all my data. I purchased the no nag version via Paypal but now can't get BBSAK to download. I wouldn't think just switching to an identical phone should be such a hassle. Any advice???

I enjoyed BBSAK in the past with my previous BB's. Now that I have sold my Droid 3 and will be getting a new BB Bold 9930 on Monday is there any estimate as to when BBOS 7 will be supported? I will be donating to help support the development, its a great tool.
