Re: [12/09/10] BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife v1.9.1

Hi,

I have recently suffered from an 'app error 523' (white screen) on my blackberry curve 8520. It is preceeded by an Exception Error that states 7 >= 7. Unfortunately Desktop Manager doesn't seem to ever manage to connect to the phone.

I am at my wits end, and have discovered your application, but am unsure in using it how to get at the data I need. I have no real interest in 3rd Party apps. I don't really have any, and the few I have were free/easily replaceable, but what I do care very much about are the documents saved in the 'memo pad'. I really need to get those documents off the phone but can't get at them, and don't know what would help - how can I get to them with your application? similarly i'd like to get at the photos on there... conversations + contacts are a distant 3rd in terms of importance.. but i'm just a bit lost in how to get at things...

Thanks
Dave

Re: [12/09/10] BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife v1.9.1

Hi, I have a big problem connecting BBSAK 1.9.1.1 with my RIM 9100 - I had uninstall it and install BBSAK 1.8.0 and it successfully connect to RIM... Is there any differences between these two versions with connecting to RIM devices? Can U fix it?
Thx.

No problems at all with the connection. Just make sure you install the BlackBerry USB Drivers, then connect/disconnect your BlackBerry and try again. You can find the drivers in this guide that I have made >>> http://www.bbmatrixforums.net/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=19

Re: [12/09/10] BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife v1.9.1

Hi there,

after donation I received the no-nag-version yesterday in the actual version 1.9.1.1.
Unfortunately, the no-nag-screen-version does not work on my computer. Did several uninstallations, reboots and so on. The nag-screen is still there! I search in the registry and everything was clean ... Now I wonder how to get rid of this nags in my program version. And further ideas??

Daniel

Re: [12/09/10] BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife v1.9.1

Hi everyone,

I'm having the same connection problem with 1.9.1.11 as others are reporting. When it does connect, no functions work, no errors are generated but the ops are not performed. I'm running .NET 4 64-bit development (without JIT debugging) on Vista Pro. I believe this problem can be corrected if the install project specifies that it needs the 32-bit .NET client framework. It's an optional setting in the install project in Visual Studio. If you are using some other tool to create the .msi I don't know how you'd specify it.

Re: [12/09/10] BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife v1.9.1

I started using BBSAK when I first got my 9800. When I upgraded to a 9810 and OS7, that phone was never recognized, although DM works fine. I've gone through several OS upgrades, including to OS 7.1. BBSAK has never recognized the phone, no matter what OS version I'm running. Version 1.9.11
