Re: [10/16/10] BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife v1.8.5

Hello,
I've read all this thread, but I didn't find a solution for those who couldn't connect their BB to the soft....

I have the same problem. Win7 64bit, version 1.8.5 of BBSAK, and BDS 6.0.0.43 and a torch 9800... can't get the damn phone to connect!

Our beta tester says it works fine on torch with Win7 64bit on BES. So you shouldn't have any troubles. I suggest trying another pc and make sure the blackberry drivers are installed.

Yeah be sure you can connect to blackberry desktop manager..then try the kill processes option, maybe that will kickstart the connection. Also be sure you're running as administer.

It worked the first time i did a backup but has not finished since.

also what is supposed to happen when you press Kill Processes?

We have seen this one other time but have failed to duplicate it, we have backed up 150 apps successfully multiple times in a row. Its hard to fix an issue we cant duplicate but we are still looking for possible errors in the code.

Kill processes, shuts down all processes started by blackberry desktop manager, these processes prevent BBSAK from seeing your phone.

Do you have any other programs running in the background? Blackberry desktop manager or any of its processes will stop BBSAK from seeing your blackberry.

Can Blackberry Desktop Manager see your phone?
