i recently tried the neopeek build that was mentioned a few posts back and the game does load but it has the white screen issue as well the second level you can see most of the background but not the platforms the green guys are on. the birds fly slightly choppy but its playable but id rather play it on my ipod touch .

and also maybe unrelated but is the neopeek build related to the xdaandroid at all besides the kernels? its a very very smooth. I wonder if it has something to do with the way you install it with the three partitions? neocore also gets 21.42 fps where as the ref version posted here was gettin 18.9 or so with sound off

Could be. My Samsung Moment has the same 320x400 as the Hero and it plays the game flawlessly. Although the Pro2 plays some games in winmo like asphault,assasins creed and experiment 13 that all work well.

I also tried the Neo build to play Angry Birds, and it is playable. I was able to see the 2nd level platforms, no lag, but there was the white background. That is a fun game.

But I was unable to get 3g working on the Neo build, so I am back to xdandroid.

I heard the older beta version has no white background issue. Can you test?

Sure, I'll test it tonight. Do you happen to remember the version number or have an apk you could pm me?

A funny thing is that Crush the Castle plays just as bad on Neo as it does on xdandroid. Angry Birds looks MUCH better then CtC, so it is odd that it plays SO much better. Neither of these games are all that graphically intense so it is odd that neither plays.

The frame rate on CtC on the galaxy S is like 100's of FPS, and on my TP2, it is like 1 FPS. I think something beyond the gpu is wrong with Crush the Castle. Where as the framerate on Angry Birds between the Galaxy S and TP2 seems to be about the same, quite smooth.

Ok, 1.3.5 beta2 works most of the time just fine. On level four, about one load out of 10 will have the white background. Restarting the level by going back to the main menu refreshes the screen and if it is white, returns it to normal.

I'm not very good, and could not get past level 4 sadly...

Running the old beta version, I can confirm that the background works.

However, there is some weird type of graphical glitching going on. Randomly, some type of object, be it all bricks of a certain type, or the background, or a button, will glitch out and get replaced with messed up graphics. This can be fixed by just reloading the page, like by quitting and restarting a level.

so this issue may be software related. Not tp2 related
