Re: Installing Android to Nand?

When you say on the sd card is the andboot folder sufficient or is it necessary to use the new partitioning method?

Re: Installing Android to Nand?

We're still in the process of trying to figure that out. If anyone get's a partitioning method that boots, let us know! I'm trying lots of different things.

Re: Installing Android to Nand?

Ok, so i tried and got stuck at the "HTC" splash. I read about an "androidinstall.tar" file. Do we need this file in the andboot folder? Currently I have a "newer" TP2 with the 2.35.00WV radio, solid white splash with green "HTC". It never shows the radio info when I try to boot.

Re: Installing Android to Nand?

It won't show the radio info, since that's from NK.exe. Hyperfire is having issues with this as well, so I'm going to have to think about it.

Re: Installing Android to Nand?

Another update. This one get's to the android loading screen for me. What about you? You must put rootfs.img in the root of your card for this to work.

I'll get on this right after work today. I start work in about an hour, but I want a working phone for work today and I want to do this test justice by giving it time to actually run. xD

I get off at 4:30 DC time.

Re: Installing Android to Nand?

Hanging at green HTC text against plain white background (no version info shown). Data is on SD card, even tried second one with all andboot contents in root.

BTW mine's a RHOD400

Re: Installing Android to Nand?

There seems to be a 50/50% chance it works, My rhod500 works, and I know of 1 rhod400 that works, so we need to figure out what's different between what works and what does not.
