No problem, I already swapped out the phone, but I now have a backup phone to go to if anything goes wrong. I just did the NAND install of Froyo to my Vogue.

Re: Installing Android to Nand?

Probably a silly question, does installing to nand basically mean installing the OS to the device as opposed to the storage card?

at the risk of sounding like a total noob, what is a .nb file in relationship to a .nbh file? also, what is the different pieces that go into the two?

sorry, just interested in learning as much as i can =D

Re: Installing Android to Nand?

A .nb is a specific part of the flashable rom. So, OS.nb (which has WM on it), radio.nb (which has the radio firmware), Splash.nb (splashscreen) and so on. The .nbh is the complete rom. Not all sections need to be in the .nbh, but you need an .nbh so that it knows where to write it's stuff.
