Installing Android to Nand?

Did anyone try to build an .NBH so we can flash android to nand?

Is there a chance of bricking the tp2? Can we avoid it?

Re: Installing Android to Nand?

I thought you can only install to Nand on certain phones (i think there were 4 phones or something, eg. Vogue) and the TP 2 wasn't one of them? Unless I'm mistaken now...haven't checked in a couple weeks.

Re: Installing Android to Nand?

i had a chance to look at the tinboot code and see if this is possible for our devices. On xda some devs already were testing on the kovsky so it doesnt seem that far out. I dont know much about cooking roms so thats where im stuck at now. Also before i test i need to make sure i dont brick my phone :-\ ..

If you can cook something up really quick for me to try in the next 2 days or so, I can volunteer my phone to be a brick. It is going back for an insurance swap. Also, the people at the store know me, they don't care if I have custom ROM's and such...

I havent had any time to work on it yesterday. Hopefully tonight i can compile it. Someone else is already doing the research on the cooking portion. Unfortunately our kernel will probably just blank out and init everything right. We rely too much on wince to boot direct from nand. This may be an ongoing project.
