Edit: Went ahead and added it, I think maybe some of the issues people were reporting are a result of using the kernel he was including with it. The build itself is probably fine. Last edited by cflynt; 03-31-2010 at 10:33 AM. |

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2 Rhodium Updated 3-31-2010
I had been using Flyers2114's all-in-one package from about 2 weeks ago. It looks like you are now the person making the packages. If I just extract yours over the existing one I had will there be any issues? Should I just clear my SD card and extract yours when it goes up this evening?

Ok guys as promised, here it is. Link: http://www.jbpcrepair.com/mackie/ Please note: Extract everything in the folder to the root of your SD card. The newest build of XANDROID takes a few restarts to run good. You may have to remove everything off your SD card and start over with this new package. 3rd post in this thread updated with details.

00_MACKIE_00 could you put together an all-in-one package for the sense ui android for CDMA and/or possibly start a new thread for this? TIA

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2 Rhodium Updated 3-31-2010
I am running the 3/31 build, it is a touch more buggy than the 3/1 build, but after a few manual reboots things seemed to stabilize. Personally never had to do that. But mighta just been some bugs to work through. Can't say I have noticed it being slower or faster but guess newer is nice. Do like the Gallery and Calc apps though.

More than the crippled functions that are not ready yet, the "SD lag" somewhat kills the experience for me. Can't wait until Android can be flashed internally.

Quite the contrary, they have done numerous benchmark tests, and SD Card is much faster than the internal flash.
