I searched the thread but it did'nt pull any results on this issue: When I update thru the startup app, I get an error when I try to unzip the update.zip file in the temp folder... therefore I can't update via phone.

Anyone experiencing this? Is there a workaround?

I think there's a bit of a misunderstanding here, though. We're not, or at least I'm not, demanding anything. Merely inquiring or suggesting. If that's not something the developers want to hear just say the word and I'll be quiet!

My apologies I didn't read back to see it was a misunderstanding. It just seemed like you were demanding but I understand that you weren't. My apologies again not trying to step on anyone's feet.

+1 on a Home Button solution, alternative, app, method, etc. Has anyone found a way to activate the App History function? Or is this something that has to be hard coded to a physical button?

go to sd card programfiles/xdandroidstartup/temp/UPDATE now delete file (update.zip)and try updating from the startup app again... hope this helps
