That's for if you DO use your auto backlight in windows mobile, the app will turn it off, so that people no longer get the screen staying on in Android.

600MHz, 700MHz, 767MHz

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [9/28] NEW START APP!

Ah, OK, thanks.

This release has been the best so far, by the way. I got data right away without messing with APNs and the whole bootup was smooth. The 3D gallery app is nice as well. You guys are getting pretty fancy with the boot animation, too, haha.

One the battery life issues are sorted (assuming they can ever be fully sorted for WinMo phones), using this full-time will be quite feasible.

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [9/28] NEW START APP!

Anyone else having issues with the new build. I uninstalled the old cab. Deleted the andboot folder and Android folder off my card. I then restarted and installed the new cab. Restarted then launched the new project android program. New utility shows up. Select Rhod500 and it crashes WinMo. I even tried just running the haret.exe directly from total commander. Says Haret Version at the bottom of the screen and just sits there frozen. Not sure what else to try. I am running NRG's latest ROM

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [9/28] NEW START APP!

i think you have to delete the cache folder as well

edit: Actually, if you're overclocked in WM, that happens. Make sure you're not overclocked in WM before booting into Android.

1) Usually the RAR versions work better. Not sure if this is different with today's release, but to be safe I'd go with the RAR one.

2) It's best to format your SD card (not just delete everything, format, like a hard drive).

Then read through this and make sure you're doing everything right.

If you're OC'ing in Windows that's probably the first problem.

I formatted the card and no luck. Then I noticed in the advanced setting on the new loader the overclock options. I disabled this and was able get Android to boot up again.

I do not believe I am OC'ing in Windows. Unless NRG is doing it in his ROMS right from the start. If I install the Gen Y dualboot do I need to still adjust OC settings in winmo if there are any?
