Yes, and im sorry its taking so long guys, too many projects at one time. The issue with the mic not working is a kernel issue, and they are working on it, I believe if you go back a kernel from the Project Tracking page it will fix the issue (both zimage/modules files). If you guys are really sick of waiting, I could release a temp version that would not be theme, but would have launcherpro and the updated apps i add/remove from the build. To me it seems like that almost defeats the purpose but if everyone wanted that it would be easy for me to drop quickly for download.

Hopefully I get this finished soon. It shouldn't be too much longer.

Eh, I'd rather you put your energy into getting the full release done rather than putting together an in-between one.

so i read about 15 pages of this and didnt find the answer. Is the camera working on this build? Mine pops up and then I have to force close it. sorry if this has been covered and I missed it.

You don't have to read 15 pages... Just read the first couple of posts. They get updated as stuff gets updated...

thanks for the info. The reason I ask is that on the dowload page they say something about the camera wokring. I am a noob when it comes to ppc and even more so with android so....

No worries, just be sure to read... search... read... and probably search again before posting.

I also agree that the camera stuff is confusing - a piece of the camera is working, but it's not enough to have the entire camera working basically. Userland = Android, Kernel = Linux basically, so Android is ready for the camera... but Linux is not!

Hey,

FYI... New Gmail App is released in Market. If you have Root Explorer you can delete the old Gmail.APK and install the new one.

It won't update or it at least failed on mine.
