Are you using the startup utility to launch android? If so this should not be an issue, and maybe is a bug you found. The answer to your question is in the FAQ. Here is the link.

Yes sir i use the startup utility, the only thing i didnt check was the key lights on before running droid, but i checked that and it still does it, if i can remember correctly the first time i start any droid build it will be off but the next time going into droid its stuck on

Edit: after a full charge its and a droid freeze, the backlight is working again ........

first remove all the old files haret, zimage,ts calibration,rootfs.img,system.sqsh,initrd,modules.
then sync your phone and you will see the folder andboot, copy all the files to the root of the card and then go to your file explorer and find the green droid icon select rod400 then force cdma

you have to have your gps set in winmo first just makes it faster then go to general settings and turn on your gps in droid

the power management isnt working for droid so it will always say your batt is low thats just something your gonna have to learn to ignore till they get that fixed. just remember if you started up with a full batt you should have enough to run all day then charge.

Both of these are only half answers... granted they are both answers to questions that the answers can be EASILY found, by doing a little simple reading. There is a reason that F.A.Q. is HUGE on the first post, and that in bright red letters underneath it it states clearly, "READ THIS BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS".

Your GPS isn't going to work at all, even if you get a lock in WinMo first, unless you either read/search through this thread, or go the the main project hub and use the correct rootfs file that contains the appropriate fix for GPS.

The battery meter, as stated in the first post under "Things not working in this build", the FAQ at the main project hub, AND the WiKi (so i know you did not read ANY of these), is not working correctly. It does have a bug, and is off by about 50%. By reading the thread, or by going to the main hub page you could have also found a fix for this.

In conclusion by reading either the thread, or the main project hub you would have 1) already known about this issue and not littered the thread with unnecessary questions and 2) learned how to fix them.

Thanks

Has any developers been able to pull the sound drivers from the T-Mobile HTC HD2 or Verizon HTC Incredible to see if they will work for our touch pro2 in Android? Does any one have knowledge on how to develop the drivers if those won't work.

Usually I'm not one to call people out for silly questions, but you do have to question the thought process of some people. Hmm, can't start from the WinMo driver for the TP2 driver, so lets start with the WinMo driver from different hardware. Nice logic there.

Check my previous post. I made a mistake with Imagio when I meant HTC Incredible. I understand that the HD2 is a wm phone, but the Incredible is not.

Tilde88 - so I hope it makes sense to you now?
animez - Android to Android/Linux, now you follow the logic?
boodaka & mikee4fun & boodaka- No metro, old phone on Sprint

so now that you all got your lil weak a$$ roast out there do any of you have the answer or a solution? If not shut the phuck up and let a real developer answer the question.

Has any developers been able to pull the sound drivers from the Verizon HTC Incredible to see if they will work for our touch pro2 in Android? Does any one have knowledge on how to develop the drivers if those won't work.

RIght before android finishes booting, I get the error

SQUASHFS error: Unable to read page, block 11

request suspend state:wakeup

the error keeps repeating over and over. I have followed all instructions, formatted my SD card FAT32, installed the .cab file. I also tried the .rar files

Either way I get the same errors. I'm using a SanDisk 4GB class 2 card and running mightyrom SE

Please Help!
