[QUOTE=Tilde88;1757673]take out your SIM card before you boot Haret. Also make sure you have your Phone in CDMA Only mode under your network settings... But just the SIM will work...

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [5/10] GPS NOW WORKING!
lol no prob... be sure to always read the first few posts on the first page of threads. they usually have FAQs if they are stickied, or have links to FAQs.
Additionally... You can use the search feature even if you're not signed in! Just some insight |
Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [5/10] GPS NOW WORKING!

I have a sprint touch pro 2 and loaded Android successfully with all data and calls working as well as gps and running real smoothly.
about 20 mins ago I pressed the phone button on the screen and my phone black screened. It will not turn on using the power button or the reset button under the back plate. Am I the first to brick? |

I posted at the bottom of the previous page. I could not locate English US during the setup. I chose English-UK. Consequently, all the units are in Meters and degrees Celsius. Anyone know how to change the units? Thank you.`

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [5/10] GPS NOW WORKING!
My experience so far with the current build has been pretty good. I think the Devs are doing an awsome job to integrate the Android OS onto the TP2.
Not sure if this is a proper work around or not, but for me to almost always ensure my signal is enabled when booting into Android I choose the Rhod400 first then the Rhod500 then check the force CDMA. I then wait for the OS to fully load onto the main screen. It typically loads into landscape mode and I watch the singnal meter. When it comes on I push the (back) hard button and it properly orients my screen. I am actually getting better signal on my phone when in Anroid OS compared to WM... I have had lock up problems when using Maps or Navigation... Seems like when the GPS gets a lock and locates me on the map the OS locks and I have to remove the battery to get it too boot up. The battery fix is great and I hope it is possible to integrate it into the Devs build. I like the Update option on the GUI. It makes for an easy way to keep up with the latest builds! Koodoos to ALL who have helped make this possible!!!=D> |

Thanks for the feedback bud, just a couple suggestions when you find a bug, you might also be able to find the fix. You can always visit the Project Android HUB here and check the Updates & FAQ: http://sites.google.com/site/androidport/ Another option would be to use the thread search tool, and then you could have found this: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...45#post1755345 Enjoy your working GPS. :headbang: |
