Yes, in your cmdline in your startup.txt. Don't use the MGJDroidUtil if you modify your startup, it will blast out any customizations you have done.

Is there a compiled list of all startup.txt cmdline entries somewhere... we need that methinks.

Also, anyone have a working apk for skyfire... it works while going thru the startup tutorial then all I get is a Force Close everytime.

I've been consistently following Android development for months and good thing I just checked the FAQ because somehow I missed this:

Enable Proximity Sensor - board-htcrhodium-proximity.on=1

Enable Wake on Proximity Sensor - board-htcrhodium-proximity.wake=1

Will be trying these out next time i'm in Windows Mobile.

I'm not sure this is functional yet, is it? I just read the FAQ myself and it sounds like some of those entries are still just for test/debug... someone correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just guessing here.

You are correct, those still are not functional and are for dev purposes.

Well, you got it. Reefer is uploading as I type and I've put it in the Startup App for ya to use as you will...

I hope you all like the app, it's been a long road, but it's all working.

Peace

And here it is, working progress bar, this one will remember your settings and not kill your old startup.txt. Almost forgot, this will auto delete your .rec files as well!!

http://www.filefront.com/17334237/XD...Startup1.2.CAB

This is the patch for the startup tool ONLY this will not change android in any way.

I put my audio dong to my headset and did the mic work around(call with speakerphone but with the headset attached) but it was going to my headset and now it work in android and i can unplug andf plug back in and it works.

I had this same issue when I thought I was upgrading the kernel or installing a new package from reefer until I reformatted my SD card with the reformat tool teradog posted. The windows reformat of my sd didn't work (it deleted the data but I still had the same issue). Then I started over with a different tool and it worked first try.

I am having a no network available error with the latest blazin,am I the only one?

I have Sprint and I have installed all prior builds without any issues.
Does anyone know a way to fix it?

Thank you!

Has anyone else had a problem with the 9/28 build where the radio will disconnect upon receiving a call randomly...
I'm on Sprint and have to boot back into windows in order to fix. I've tried switching into airplane mode and also searching for carrier but nothing seems to work. Other then that I'm sold on android already though.

you cant mix and match .. nand kernels are for nand and haret kernels are for haret. 99.9% of the times the reason loose wifi is because the modules don't match the kernel they were build with .. Make sure they match and you will be alright

Not good.. last i heard bzo had some issues with it. But Alex[sp3]dev might tackle it next. We need more manpower since there is also high demand for BT. Its not on my list of poop to do. Im more concerned about the battery meter code that will get published soon .. it might be hell for a few days depending on what devices break :-p

I also had this problem. Formated the memory card reinstalled, and turned off the overclock and it started working right away.

Tried Barnacle Wifi Tether.... works ok.

After rebooting acore process crashes left and right.

I think I read a warning somewhere about wifi not working fully especially Wifi Tether of any kind.

LOL oh well new data.img again. No big deal.

Using the batery status test kernel so probably the issue there.

I had issues booting the latest reference build. Took away the overclock for the first boot, added it back for later ones and it's still working fine. I guess you just can't overclock for the initial boot?

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [9/28] NEW START APP!

I've got a TP2 on Verizon. You mention to remove the SIM card. However, I find no description of how to do that, other than to use the stylus. There is a metal band that is holding it in place and there appears to be no way to remove the SIM without destroying it. Please help.

Also, I have run this with the SIM card in and once, while using Force CDMA, have gotten phone and data. But not since then has it worked. Now, I have downloaded the new version from 9/28, but both versions (overclock and standard) freeze up the phone just after selecting Rhodium 500 and clicking boot!.

use your stylus and there should be a little hole/slot right in the back of where the sim card sits. put stylus in there and then push it out it will bend a little but it will not break.

Here is a video, but you don't really need to bend the SIM that much.
