Ah, OK, thanks.
This release has been the best so far, by the way. I got data right away without messing with APNs and the whole bootup was smooth. The 3D gallery app is nice as well. You guys are getting pretty fancy with the boot animation, too, haha. One the battery life issues are sorted (assuming they can ever be fully sorted for WinMo phones), using this full-time will be quite feasible. |
Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [9/28] NEW START APP!
Anyone else having issues with the new build. I uninstalled the old cab. Deleted the andboot folder and Android folder off my card. I then restarted and installed the new cab. Restarted then launched the new project android program. New utility shows up. Select Rhod500 and it crashes WinMo. I even tried just running the haret.exe directly from total commander. Says Haret Version at the bottom of the screen and just sits there frozen. Not sure what else to try. I am running NRG's latest ROM

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [9/28] NEW START APP!
i think you have to delete the cache folder as well
edit: Actually, if you're overclocked in WM, that happens. Make sure you're not overclocked in WM before booting into Android. |

2) It's best to format your SD card (not just delete everything, format, like a hard drive). Then read through this and make sure you're doing everything right. If you're OC'ing in Windows that's probably the first problem. |

I do not believe I am OC'ing in Windows. Unless NRG is doing it in his ROMS right from the start. If I install the Gen Y dualboot do I need to still adjust OC settings in winmo if there are any? |

Are you really calling that sarcasm? Man, you kids today... really gotta work on it. Cuz that's not sarcasm, that's being a whiny little... Well you get the point. If you're right, and he was being sarcastic, I'll stop eating bacon. Which is like a hunger strike for me.

There is a thread over at code.google.com that addresses it from the Vogue port days. Issue 2 - vogue-android - Ring tones only ring once - Project Hosting on Google Code There is a link to an Android "media" folder that has ring tones, alarms, etc. that loop correctly. I'm sure with more research you can find out how to edit your ring tones to loop. Good luck. |

Re: [CAB] GSM&CDMA Project Android Port and Startup Utility [9/28] NEW START APP!
I apologize if this has been asked before, but is anyone having issues with incoming call volume? While in Android I receive calls and upon answering I can't hear anything from the other person but they can hear me. When I call them directly back the sound works fine both ways. I can't figure this out. Thanks for the assistance in advance.

However, I'd try to update the kernel first before doing anything else. |

Data dropping is FIXED!
This is awesome. I haven't had to go to airplane mode or fix my APN settings yet. The testing Battery Meter kernel is wonderful too. Though I noticed the Selection Box that wraps the ads on apps are too small now. I rather have radio buttons that don't overlap text. |

Haven't noticed it but mine syncs right away at boot. I have Clocksync but it isn't set to auto sync the time. Not even at boot. It's off by seconds but not minutes. I have RHOD500, Verizon. |

Now that I have had to pull my sim card, does anyone no how to remove the "No Sim" notification icon on the WinMo side? It blocks my ability to see my reception, any help would be greatly appreciated

Sound on the headphone jack really isn't fixed yet. Sometimes that trick works. I'd probably just wait until they can fix it.
