Skyfire crashing

I downloaded Skyfire 2.3 from the Marketplace. When I run it, I accept the terms and click Next to advance through it's little feature tutorial, but then every time I get an error (The application Skyfire (process com.skyfire.browser) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.) and have to Force close it.

Does anyone else have this problem?

YUP! I Get the same error. You sent them a message saying
it crashes on the 2nd next accpeting the agreement. You never
get a chance to use it.

Re: Skyfire crashing

Try 2.2 looks like 2.3 is not working on our phones. I guess it is using some sort of openGL

Re: Skyfire crashing

Ok, I don't know if this is a solution or what but this worked for me and I just said, "great!" and moved on. At the time, I installed the new build and could not get Skyfire to work and had the same problems you did. Frustrated, I started reading another thread and learned how to change the screen size by going into the 'startup.txt' in \Storage Card\andboot and editing the 'lcd.density=240' line to 'lcd.density=210'. So after going through some of the apps and seeing how the change of size affected them, I went back to Skyfire and was able to complete the startup process and Skyfire was usable. After a couple of days i decided to change back the 'start.txt' back to default size (240) and Skyfire was still working without any error. This worked for me. I hope I just did not waste your time.

Smile Re: Skyfire crashing

That worked like a charm plus it made some of my widgets work better. Mixzing is showing album art in the widget now for me and the Animated Weather widget works now. Thanks a million!
